The imfamous Lana Blinders in action...
Apr. 15th, 2003 07:11 amSo earlier I was glancing over at DTS (it's the first time I've done it since I discovered they existed), and I noticed they'd taken
kryptonsite's idea of writing columns. I was glancing over the one that had been written about Helen when I cam across the following paragraph:
"Not since Kelly Brook who played Victoria have I seen Michael Rosenbaum a.k.a. Lex Luthor have such amazing on screen chemistry with another women. Well other then the talented Kristin Kreuk who challenges him each episode with her portrayal of Lana Lang of course."
I can't tell you how much I cracked up at this.
a) Kelly Brook was a CRAP actress, and the only reason there was any chemistry in scenes with MR is because he's a guy who can have chemistry with a blue bottle! And I'd hardly describe their chemistry as 'amazing',
b)"the talented Kristin Kreuk"
Heeee. Do I need to even say anything about this?
and
c) "who challenges [MR] each episode with her portrayal of Lana Lang"
LMAO! Challenges? What the fuck? Are they watching a different show to me? Because that's the only explanation I can think of. Another show with an actress who just happens to look and sound like KK and even share her name. Yep, that must be it.
Although,
jollycynic did suggest that they might have meant how difficult it was to do all that acting with only two facial expressions. I just think they must all have the WB extra industrial strength Lana blinders (TM Pete) that all the writers and producers have soldered to their faces. Maybe someone should inform them of this.
