So, I made it here all in one piece, and even managed to catch my connection flight okay, yay me! Unfortunately jetlag keeps getting the better of me and I keep getting tired on the afternoon (which is pretty much the middle of the night UK time, so I guess that's ot too bad for me), but I'm sure I just need a few more days until I'll be completely recovered from my jet lag.
So far I've been out with Mark to meet his mom who was really nice. So that was cool. :) And today we went to check out part of downtown and went for a walk around and browsed through a Barnes and Noble before we went to see a movie (Holes, a kid's movie, but it had a plot that puts Smallville completely to shame). It's so cool to see what's different here, with the different ways food, books, etc are presented than in the UK. We've also been to some really nice food places when we've ate out, including a Training Table tonight, which has gorgeous hamburgers. :)
Not sure what we have planned for tomorrow but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. I can't believe half of my first week is almost up already!
