wedding update!

I think I'm starting to get there with the wedding plans. We got the invites made last night and I've been addressing a few for people back in the UK today to be sent off soon. winsomesquirrel has ordered her bridesmaid dress, her sister, one of my other bridesmaids should be ordering hers, as well, and I'm going to be ordering my sister's as soon as my money transfer comes through.

Speaking of, I'm so tired today, I know Mark must be feeling even more tired though, being at work. We stayed up until 2am (9am UK time) in order to call my bank to try and get my money transfer sorted. Fortunately we got people who knew what they were doing on the phone, and so we managed to get to bed by 3am, which was pleasant seeings that I thought that I'd be on the phone calling around for a good few hours.

So now I have an updated list of stuff to do for the wedding:

• Make Invitations
  
• Address and send Invitations
  
• Book photographer - Almost there on this one, we have a photographer, just need to make a deposit to secure the booking.
  
• Flowers
  
• Bridal accessories - eg. shoes, veil, etc.
  
• Get dress altered to fit - length
  
• Bridesmaide dresses and accessories - Almost there on that, too.
  
• Get a dress for the flowergirl
  
• Tux for Mark - We're going to look at tuxes this weekend.
  
• Tux for the Groomsmen - "
  
• Tux for the Father of the Bride - "
  
• Buy Mark's ring
  
• Get marriage certificate
  
• Confirm details with all professionals involved in the wedding
  
• Favours for guests - I'm not really sure what to do for this, or even to do it. But we'll see how time goes.
  
• Book Honeymoon - Hopefully gonna sort that out when my money gets here. We're going to Vegas, Baby!
  
• Prepare paperwork for Adjustment of Status, Employment Authorisation and Advance Parole
  

Phew. That's a long list to get through.
