About time for an update on my life, I think.
On Tuesday we went down to the local immigration services, for my interview for Adjustment of Status (adjusting to legal permanent resident). Everything went well and we were in and out of the interview in about 10-15 minutes. So I got approved and now I'm just waiting for my greencard to arrive so I can start applying for a job and so I can go and get a State ID card, finally. Also, I'll be able to start sorting out driving lessons. :D Plus I'm here permanently, they can't deport me. :-p
So this weekend we're going to work on my resume and go over to Mark's sister's house for her birthday. Any tips on how to make a US resume would be much appreciated!

diyeana it seems you never got your invite, maybe it went to your junk mail folder? So I resent it. :)
