Sep. 15th, 2005 10:24 pmHmm. Strange.
My sister left home today, she's gone to live with one of her friends who has a spare room and lives about 5 minutes away from us. You'd think having spent so many years sharing a room with her I'd be pleased. But I just feel kind of... eh.
I tried moving things around, putting the two single beds together, to make one big bed, but it just didn't feel right (plus my sisters bed has a spring broken in it, about half way down the bed. Blech). I guess the room kind of looks, and feels, empty knowing she's not going to be around anymore. In the past I've loved having the room to myself when she's stayed over at friends for the night, but I guess her stuff was still there and I knew she'd be back.
It's just weird... I didn't think I'd feel like this. Maybe it'll just take a bit of getting used to.
